Group 2 for Isaac Shelby

Incredibly exciting Isaac Shelby makes it two from two on Saturday taking the Superlative Stakes Group 2 at Newmarket in a gutsy performance to claw back the title in the dying strides from warm favourite Victory Dance who showed he also had sheer determination to win his maiden on his last start.

This son of Night Of Thunder was secured from GoffsUK Premier Yearling Sale for Β£92,000 a stretch of the budget for our Manton Thoroughbreds Syndicates but it was a stretch with a mighty reward attached to it.

It has been a few years since Barraquero won the Richmond Stakes Group 2 for the syndicate and they will be hoping that he can surpass him with races such as Dewhurst, Lagardare, Breeders Cup Group 1s all on the table according to Brian Meehan and his team who topped off a fantastic vein of form with Show Respect also finishing 2nd in the Group 2 July Stakes.
